About Kan Bud Homes
Our history​
Founded in Alberta, Canada in the 1960's, Kan Bud was originally established to provide modular homes and offices for the oil and gas industry. These homes were designed and built to survive the harshest environments across Alaska, the Arctic and even Siberia.
The speed to build, quality and low cost was recognised by the United States military and Kan Bud quickly expanded, winning a contract to build military facilities. Soon after, the company expanded internationally and opened an additional manufacturing facility in Poland in 1986. This award-winning manufacturing plant covers 85,000 sq metres. We welcome clients to visit our manufacturing plant in Wroclaw, Poland.

What we do​

We provide housing solutions for authorities, housing refugees, asylum seekers and homeless people. Our houses are modular, meaning they can be built offsite and transported to their destination. This not only saves time, but also provides a lower cost alternative to onsite construction. Our materials are high quality, and we have a fast build time, so you can deliver low cost, effective accommodation more quickly.

Our Process
Design
We offer off the shelf designs, or we can work with you to design the accommodation you want.
Fast build
We build our modular homes in a state of the art, offsite manufacturing facility. This reduces cost and speeds up the build process.

We work with you from design to delivering the final finished building onsite for you.

Our Products are tried and tested in some of the World's most extreme locations and environments. As such our attention to detail, quality of basic raw materials and build quality has had to be absolutely best in class. From fire security to insulation we can work to the most demanding governmental or local requirements and regulations and, more often than not our standard specifications are well above those generally required.
